This is not supposed to be an in-depth comparison of these two different formats. It’s more of an overview of the differences between them.

In digital photography world, there are only two formats:

• Raw
• JPEG

There are many Raw formats, actually every camera manufacturer has its own raw format. This is one of the challenges we have, there are so many raw formats and there doesn’t seem to be any cooperation between all these camera manufacturers.

So, anyway, I thought I would create this video about some major differences between these two formats – Raw and JPEG.
