Video and HTML 5

Adobe Developer Connection

There has been a lot of buzz around HTML 5 recently and I thought I would share this very interesting video with you.

This doesn’t have much to do with Photoshop or Lightroom, but why not expand our knowledge/expertise on the web with some HTML 5 insights.

HTML 5 is the 5th major revision of the core language of the World Wide Web: the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) . In this version, new features are introduced to help Web application authors and new elements are introduced as well. One of the new features is the ability to play video without worrying about the codecs.

The video I want to share with you today is a video from Stephanie (Sullivan) Rewis.

Stephanie (Sullivan) Rewis is a prominent front-end developer, corporate trainer, and noted champion of web standards. Author of Mastering CSS with Dreamweaver CS4 and other books, she’s a driving force in WaSP, as their Industry Evangelist to Adobe.

Here’s the link to Stephanie’s website:

W3Conversions.

W3Conversions’ Stephanie (Sullivan) Rewis lays down the ground rules for video and HTML5 in a four-part series. First, she provides a crash course on how to think about HTML5 when delivering video and dynamic content for the web.

Enjoy! 🙂
