As well as working on voice-assisted control in Photoshop, as I wrote about in previous post, here at PhotoshopLightroomBridge, Adobe Research are working on a number of other projects.

The video below shows a technology Adobe are working on which would allow rotating faces in images.

As Adobe say:

“Within this application, you can easily rotate the faces in the image to paint on non-frontal parts while the real-time paint simulation engine ensures the paint to naturally blends with the image in accordance with the input illumination,”

Adobe are not saying anything more about this technology. They’re just saying that it’s coming soon…
