Have you ever heard about hidden gems? Maybe not in Photoshop…
What are hidden gems, I hear you asking?
Hidden gems are usually less known features in Photoshop. We all have heard about Content-Aware Fill and Puppet Warp in Photoshop CS5, but there are so many more less known features in Photoshop. Or, it could be some new ways to use one of the features in Photoshop. For example, in one of the previous posts on the blog here, I did a tutorial (a video actually) on using Content-Aware Fill to fix the panoramas. What a great way of using Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop CS5! 😉
That’s what I call Hidden Gems in Photoshop CS5. To show you an interesting hidden gem in Photoshop CS5, I want to share with you a video by Brian Hughes.
Here’s what Brian says about this video:
Some features are just made for each other, like Puppet Warp and Content-Aware Fill. Puppet Warp helps you manipulate and Content-Aware Fill seamlessly synthesizes the background. Together the tools can change the pose of a model, easily remove artifacts and take care of hours of cleanup work in seconds.
I hope you’ll enjoy it. And it’s less than 2 minutes long so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t watch it!
