Shooting tethered in Lightroom

Photoshop Lightroom TV - Episode 35Welcome everyone! Welcome to my blog! Today, we’ll talk about shooting tethered.

Lightroom 3 allows you to very easily shoot tethered (straight from your camera into Lightroom)! This is so good, you need to check this out. Don’t just take my word for granted, test it.

Previous version of Lightroom allowed you to shoot tethered but with Lightroom 3 it became so simple. You just plug in your camera into your computer (you can use a usb cable that came with your camera or buy a long one or just use a wireless transmitter, there are a number of options) and then let Lightroom import images while you’re taking photographs! As simple as that! There are a few steps in Lightroom but you can find it all out by watching the latest episode of Photoshop Lightroom TV where I explain how to shoot tethered in Lightroom.

Not all the cameras will work straight out of the box with Lightroom so have a look on this article to find out if your camera is supported by Lightroom’s tethered shooting:

After reading the article, watch the latest episode of Photoshop Lightroom TV to see how easy it is to shoot tethered. Here’s the link for you:

I hope you will have lots of fun shooting tethered straight from your camera into Lightroom! Enjoy! 🙂
