Hello guys,

Today I have a quick tip for you, Tip of the Week if you will and it’s a Photoshop tip.

It’s about converting Photoshop background layers to regular layers.

You probably know that you can convert a background layer to a regular layer by double-clicking on it, right?

However, what happens when you double-click is you get this dialogue box that comes up. What if you don’t want this dialogue box to appear?

That’s where my Tip comes in:

Hold Alt / Opt key down and then double-click on the Background layer.

Photoshop will convert the Background layer to a regular layer without any dialogue boxes.
