There are a number of new features in the new version of Photoshop, which Adobe recently released – Photoshop CC 2017.

What I want to share with you today is the newsly redesigned Properties Panel in Photoshop CC 2017.

In the past, using Properties panel you could access Adjustment Layer’s properties or Layer Mask properties. However, now with the new version of Photoshop, you can do much more. As an example, now Properties panel will show you properties for your Pixel Layer as well, as shown below:

Even more, Properties panel will allow you to convert an Embedded Smart Object to a Linked Smart Object (and vice versa):
