Adobe introduced new AI-powered features in Premiere Pro in one of the recent updates.

Premiere Pro now has the new Firefly-powered Generative Extend, which allows you to extend the videos by up to 2 seconds and it generates content.

Generative Extend works in the background so you can continue to work on your project without interruptions. Powered by Adobe Firefly, it adds extra frames while you continue to work, and adds “AI-generated” text at the end of the video showing the frames that were created/added.

You can now try the Generative Extend in Premiere Pro for free. According to Adobe blogs, after a limited time, Generative Extend will use your generative credits. When this happens, the price will depend on the format, resolution, and the frame-rate of your video.

The new Generative Extend is now available for everyone in Premiere Pro and you can start using it straight away 😉
