Adobe Lightroom CC 2015.8 update

Adobe have announced a new update to Adobe Lightroom – Lightroom CC 2015.8.

This new version of Lightroom brings a new feature in Develop Module – the ability to view two images side by side. Adobe call it Reference View.

Reference View is supposed to be used to see two images side by side in Develop Module ot make it easier to make them look the same (colours, tones, etc).

In Reference View you’ll have Reference Photo on your left with Active Photo on the right. Active Photo is the one you’re going to work on (adjust).

At the same time as Adobe announced Lightroom update – version CC 2015.8 they also announced an update to Camera Raw – 9.8.

Adobe also mention that:

Lightroom CC (2015.8) / 6.8 includes ‘under-the-hood’ changes designed to improve the responsiveness of your Lightroom experience.  You should notice improvements in image editing responsiveness when background tasks (such as Preview Generation) are running, moving files between folders, running catalog backups.

Lightroom CC 2015.8 and Camera Raw 9.8 now also support new cameras:
