Adobe have released the latest update to Lightroom – Lightroom CC 2015.7 and Lightroom 6.7.
This new version of Lightroom brings the usual set of bug fixes (in this release a bug fixes for the new Mac OS X) and the usual new Lens Profiles and new cameras raw support.
New cameras that are now supported in Lightroom CC 2015.7 and 6.7 are:
- Apple iPad Pro 9.7″ (wifi and gsm)
- Apple iPhone 6s Plus
- Apple iPhone 6s
- Apple iPhone 7
- Apple iPhone 7 Plus
- Apple iPhone SE
- Canon EOS 5D Mark IV*
- Casio EX-ZR4000 (EX-ZR5000)
- GoPro HERO5 Black
- Hasselblad H6D-100c
- Nikon D3400
- Panasonic DMC-G8 (DMC-G80, DMC-G81, DMC-G85)
- Panasonic DMC-LX9 (DMC-LX10, DMC-LX15)
But there is also a new feature inside Lightroom:
Smart Previews for Faster Performance
So far we could only use Smart Previews for images that were not accessible to Lightroom (on external hard drive). Now this changes with this new update.
Lightroom CC 2015.7 and 6.7 now allows you to set in Preferences so that you can always use Smart Previews in Develop Module, even for images that are on your internal hard drive.
