I get asked about Adobe Creative Cloud a lot, so I thought I would explain a few things:

– applications you download through Creative Cloud install on your computer. You don’t need to be online all the time to use them. It is like any other application that runs on your computer, it is just being downloaded from the Creative Cloud web page instead of being installed from a disc.

– with Adobe Creative Cloud, you get updates for applications as soon as they get released, no need to wait for updates for 18 to 24 months.

– with Adobe Creative Cloud you get all of the Adobe applications, even applications that don’t come with any of the Creative Suite editions like Lightroom 4.

– for Adobe Creative Cloud to work, you need to be connected to the internet at least once a month, so that Adobe checks if you paid for subscription.

I guess this explains all the most common questions asked about Adobe Creative Cloud.
