To start with,  Adobe® Kuler™ is a fantastic application from Adobe that lets you try out, create and share various colour schemes. It is available in a web browser version at: http://kuler.adobe.com as well as an Adobe AIR application.

Users of Creative Suite 4 can also access Kuler straight from Adobe Illustrator® CS4, Photoshop® CS4, InDesign® CS4, Fireworks® CS4, and Flash® CS4 Professional and Kuler is available free of charge!
